You may have noticed that on our Instagram page, we’ve been introducing you to some of our wonderful Celebrants.
Among many other wonderful details, we now know that Bec Mayo loves that post ceremony hug with her couples the best of all and that Emily Rawlings always has a bottle of Champagne in the fridge ready to celebrate at any given moment!
Two sentiments that we wholeheartedly endorse.
We also asked our celebrants what the “Best Thing About Being a Member of TCS” is, and well, the answers were amazing!
The core value of The Celebrant Society is Community Over Competition and we are very proud that these responses reflect that beautifully.
Being a Celebrant is largely a One Person Show, but with our Facebook group, Zoom chats and catch ups, we are able to foster an incredible community that shares it’s knowledge and supports each other at every stage.
Whether you are a new Celebrant or one who has been celebrating love stories for a while, we are always here to help!

We kid. We actually have a lot of bang for each membership to The Wedding Society. Including annual conferences and retreats, monthly zoom catch ups for members to socialise and ask celebrant-related questions, Innovative Learning through regular courses, conversations and workshops. Plus….
Private Facebook Page – Our Society Facebook Forums are a sanctuary for members to take a break from their virtual offices and have a chat, crack a bad joke or whinge about their procrastination without judgement. Well, with minimal judgement.
Directory Listings – Our members get a FREE Essential Listing! in our Wedding Directory, where hundreds of awesome couples search for legendary wedding professionals in their area.
Importantly included in a membership is Public Liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance.
We offer Discounts to Industry related products and Government Representative. Our Directors Anna and Sarah visit with the Attorney General’s Department twice annually. At these meetings we help to effect changes to laws, regulations, and professional Codes of Conduct regarding marriage in Australia.
