Katrina McCarter is an International Award-Winning Speaker, Marketing Strategist & Small Business Wingwoman who believes that great marketing shouldn’t require a massive budget—it requires a great story and a smart strategy. With over 25 years of experience, Katrina has sat at both ends of the table: from leading $140 million sales teams for Fortune 100 giants like Mars Petcare to the “scrappy” early days of entrepreneurship.
A two-time best-selling author (Marketing to Mums and The Mother of All Opportunities) and a Top 50 Small Business Leader, Katrina is known for her ability to translate complex consumer trends into “lightbulb moments” for solo operators. Non-members and members of other associations and networks are welcome to attend. Tickets are released to TCS Members first, and with limited capacity, so the event may sell out before non-member tickets are released.
What’s included in the ticket price?

If you are a TCS Member you’ll also have the opportunity to get professional headshots and a video interview for your TCS directory listing.
What should I bring with me to The Celebrant Conference?
Because this conference is jam packed with information, practical tips, tricks and ideas, please remember to bring your enthusiasm, laptop, favourite notebook and pens, and be ready for workbooks and handouts. Maybe your water bottle and a jumper or jacket as well. Lunch, tea and coffee is provided with your ticket, but there is also an on-site food court for drinks and food.
Can my partner come to the Annual TCS Conference?
Your partner, spouse, or best bud are more than welcome to join you on your travels, but unless they are a celebrant, they will not be able to join you in the conference – sorry!
Is accommodation included?
No, accommodation isn’t included in the ticket price. However, we’ve secured special deals with nearby hotels to offer you great options that fit a range of budgets. Discount codes will be sent via email.
How do I get to the venue?
Metropolis Events is well-connected by public transport. It’s just a short walk from major train stations and bus stops. If you’re flying in, it’s a quick 30-minute but ride from Melbourne’s domestic airport. Easy.
Is the TCS Conference a tax deduction for my business?
Hell yeah! All flights, accommodation, and conference ticket purchase are tax deductible!
What is the refund policy?
Unfortunately, due to large venue costs, tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. If a refund is approved due to exceptional circumstances, the cost of the ticket will be credited for use in the store (excluding PA Systems and TCS Membership Fees). No money will be refunded.
Will there be social events?
Yes! We’ll be announcing exciting social events and opportunities to connect with other celebrants as we get closer to the conference. Stay tuned!
Can I come for just one day to the TCS 2 Day Annual Conference?
The full conference experience spans both days, and single-day tickets are not available. We encourage you to attend both days to make the most of the excellent conference content.
What if I’m a beginner celebrant?
This conference is for everyone! Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been a celebrant for years, the sessions and workshops will cater to a range of experience levels. I would highly recommend this conference experience to beginners!
Can I promote my side business or event at the conference?
We kindly ask that you avoid promoting side businesses, events, directories or offerings that have not been approved by The Wedding Society or The Celebrant Society. Any attempts to poach members or solicit attendees for other organizations won’t be allowed and will lead to removal from the event without a refund.
What happens if I don’t follow the event rules?
We strive to create a positive and professional environment for everyone. The event organizers reserve the right to eject any attendee for poor conduct without a refund. Let’s keep things fun and respectful!
Does this conference cover OPD?
