I come from an events background – think the Olympics and major community festivals - and leadership in the arts. This has equipped me with an eye for detail, an affinity for engaging with people, excellent organisational skills and a knack for creative innovative ideas.

After always working for large organisations, I became a celebrant because I wanted to do something I love and that is building great relationships, bringing joy, telling stories and creating unforgettable memories.

I’m a typical dad with teenage daughters and a gorgeous fur baby. An immigrant married to an immigrant. I’m a sucker for anything live on stage and have been there myself. I have strong views on equality and believe that everyone should be who they want to be. I have questionable taste in music – my nickname is DJ Cheesy Hong!
