Heya! I’m Chris — a Melbourne-based (but nationally authorised) celebrant who believes your ceremony should sparkle — not stress you out. My mission is to make your ceremony meaningful, effortless, and truly “you.”

My style & philosophy

I craft bespoke ceremonies dialed in to your personality — whether you want emotional, lighthearted, traditional, or fun (or a mix).

No cheesy gimmicks, no awkward standup routines, and no dragging out boring readings or weird unrelatable rituals just because “that’s what weddings do.”

Every ceremony is unique: no copy/paste scripts. I walk you through the process, guide your vows, weave in any rituals, and deliver with authenticity.

Why did I become a celebrant?

When my wife Kristy and I got married, I wasn’t overly fussed about the ceremony — honestly, I was more excited to get to the party! But our celebrant made our twenty-minute ceremony a standout moment of the whole weekend. That experience inspired me to give that same gift to other couples — a ceremony they’ll cherish with joy, goosebumps, and a few happy tears!

• Full ceremony planning & delivery: legal documents, vows, readings, music, rituals, guest involvement
• PA / sound system (including wireless mic) to ensure your guests hear every moment clearly
• Rehearsals (on request)
• Support writing & refining your vows or promises
• MC / DJ services (I can MC your reception or provide DJ, lighting, and sound)
• Other ceremony types beyond weddings: vow renewals, anniversaries & milestones, baby namings, celebrations of life / funerals
• Vendor referrals — I have an extensive vendor network and can help guide you toward other trusted service providers.

Packages & pricing

The Civil Essentials ($850).

A simple, elegant, legally‑binding marriage with minimal personalisation. Can be done anywhere, anytime. All we need is yourselves, and 2 witnesses. Perfect for couples who want the essentials done beautifully.

The Crafted Chapter ($1600).

A personalised ceremony crafted through questionnaires. No meetings required. Perfect for couples who want something meaningful, yet streamlined.

The Signature Experience ($1850).

For couples who want the full experience. A fully personalised, deeply crafted ceremony built from interviews and story‑gathering. For couples who want a ceremony that feels like an extension of themselves.

*Other ceremonies or services (MC, DJ, vow renewals, baby namings, anniversaries, celebrations of life) are quoted on request.

Process & what to expect

• We begin with a chat about your vision, style, and legal requirements (including lodging the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) at least one month before your wedding).
• I’ll draft a ceremony for you — you can review or leave it as a surprise.
• On the day: I arrive early to set up, manage technicals, coordinate with vendors, deliver your ceremony, handle signing of documents, and then lodge the paperwork afterward.
