Dee and Roxy’s Social Media Scavenger Hunt : Adelaide

“I attended the Adelaide social media workshop and absolutely loved it.
I feel quite confident with using social media but was lacking inspiration.

The workshop with Roxy and Dee gave me new insights, ideas and then lots of content after we around around the city taking photos.
It was such a fun and informative day..”

Alix The Celebrant

Alix The Celebrant : a great wall and her own personal Hype Squad and Phootgrapher in Roxy and Dee = fabulous photos.

Well, South Australia certainly put the RAD in RADelaide…!

After a fabulous night of pizza and beers in Sydney, it was an unusually quiet Dee and Roxy that boarded the flight to Adelaide. There may even be photo evidence of Dee having a nap on the plane!

Arriving in Adelaide we were greeted with beautiful sunshine!

We quickly went on a search for what we have found to be the true factor in creating a successful Social Media Scavenger Hunt…. a good WALL!

On the Socials in Adelaide : Pat, Deana, Katie, Yeter and Alex, sharing photos and social media tips.

A good wall that provides the perfect backdrop to photos. It can be a stately red brick, a stark but white wall with endless possibilities, or, the holy grail, a brilliant street art adorned wall.

Walking Adelaide’s vast and grand streets we were spoilt for choice!

Our venue for our Adelaide Workshop was the creative hub, The Mill.

The space was perfect for host us and being in a creative neighbourhood, the streets were indeed adorned with local street art.

Full camera rolls and full hearts!

Our Adelaide (and beyond) celebrants arrived and we quickly confirmed a fundamental fact…. The majority of celebrants are huggers…!

We were joined in Adelaide by several brand-new celebrants and more established celebrants.

Dee and Roxy were delighted to be reunited with fellow Bali Retreat Attendee, Alix.

Roxy once again lead an engaging and informative session on best utilising Social Media as celebrants.

Armed with a fresh insight into the  Instagram algorithm and how Roxy has found the fun in her social media content, we headed to put all of that information into action.

This is where Roxy and Dee’s reccie of ‘good walls’ come into play…!

The delightful, Ceremonies By Katie, in Adelaide

With Roxy and Dee as official photographers and Hype Girls, we had our celebrants posing and strutting and creating content.

It doesn’t take long for a group of celebrants to start seeing how they can inject their personality into their socials with the use of photos along blank walls.

To say that we were a rowdy and excitable bunch as we excitedly ran around town, is probably an exaggeration…!

When Roxy found an open boxing studio and politely asked (her English accent is perfect for polite questions!) if Dee and Roxy could jump into the ring…. Well, there some moments.

Who knew that Dee had such a competitive side…. Even in a fake fight..!

After filling our phones with photos, we headed back to our space at The Mill.

Roxy then took our attendees through the magic of Canva and editing photos to credit fun social media posts.

Under Roxy’s gentle insistence, every participant left with a post, actually posted, or very nearly there.

We all agreed that between the Adelaide sunshine, the perfect space and a brilliant group of celebrants, a fabulous day was had.

Adelaide celebrants being cute and creating that content!

Then, it was onto to a local brewery for dinner and drinks.

We knew that our Adelaide members were keen for a TCS catchup, but Roxy and Dee were blown away by how many of ours lovely members that came along for a drink, or dinner and drinks.
Tables were being constantly added to our original table…

Drinks flowed and the conversations flowed at an even faster pace.

There is a magic that happens when celebrants gather. The conversations sizzle between business, family, Bali Retreats and how fabulous your earrings are.

Putting the RAD in R-Adelaide with a lively dinner with TCS members joining Dee and Roxy

Roxy and Dee had SUCH a wonderful night meeting new celebrants and reuniting with those that we mostly only get to chat to you online.

Like I said, Adelaide, you really are RAD! We’ll make sure that it’s too long between drinks at the brewery before we are back again.

Thank you to all of our members who came along to Roxy’s Social Media Scavenger Hunt and Dinner with Roxy and Dee.
