FAQ's
Do I need to be a member of The Celebrant Society to attend?
No. The Celebrant Conference is open to all marriage and funeral celebrants, including members of other associations and celebrants still in training. TCS members receive a $150 ticket discount, but everyone is welcome.
Can my partner or friend attend with me?
Partners are welcome to travel with you to Melbourne, but conference sessions and surrounding events are reserved for celebrants only.
Is the conference suitable for new celebrants or students?
Yes. The conference is designed for celebrants at every stage, from those still completing their training to experienced celebrants with 10+ years in the industry. According to our reviews, it's often the best time to attend.
Is accommodation included in the ticket price?
No. Accommodation is not included, but we’ve organised discount options with nearby hotels, and Melbourne has plenty of accommodation to suit different budgets.
What’s included in the conference ticket?
Your ticket includes two full days of speakers, workshops and networking, plus morning & afternoon tea, lunch and coffee each day. You’ll also get access to networking events, social events, supplier discounts, and opportunities like professional headshots and directory interviews. This conference content does not go towards AGD OPD.
Can I promote my side business or event at the conference?
We kindly ask that you avoid promoting side businesses, events, directories or offerings that have not been approved by The Wedding Society or The Celebrant Society. Any attempts to poach members or solicit attendees for other organizations won’t be allowed and will lead to removal from the event without a refund.
